Worley, Wurdock Elevated to Partnership

Sturgill, Turner, Barker & Moloney, PLLC is pleased to announce that Langdon R. Worley and Stephanie M. Wurdock have been promoted to Members of the firm.

Langdon’s experience in civil litigation has taken her to more than 60 Kentucky counties where she has defended a wide variety of cases, ranging from motor vehicle accidents and premises liability matters to commercial trucking, products liability, fire loss, subrogation, and blasting cases. Langdon is a member of the Kentucky and Fayette County Bar Associations, the Defense Research Institute (DRI), and the Kentucky Defense Counsel: Young Lawyers Section, and is president of the Women Lawyers’ Association. She is also past president of The Rotaract Club of Lexington and a member of the Leadership Lexington Class of 2020.

Stephanie, a past Kentucky Defense Counsel, Inc. Young Lawyer of the Year, is a litigator who defends healthcare providers against claims of negligent care, wrongful death, and violations of resident’s rights. She also speaks and publishes regularly about legal developments impacting the healthcare community. Stephanie is active in both the Kentucky Defense Counsel, Inc. and in DRI, Inc., where she is the current Vice Chair of the Young Lawyers Committee and serves on multiple Board-Appointed Task Forces. In the past, she has held leadership roles in the Kentucky Bar Association, the Fayette County Bar Association, and the Rotaract Club of Lexington.

Both Stephanie and Langdon were named 2020 Super Lawyers “Rising Stars” ― an honor bestowed upon no more than 2.5 percent of lawyers in the state.
