Sturgill Turner Welcomes New Attorneys

Sturgill, Turner, Barker & Moloney, PLLC welcomes new associates to the firm’s Torts & Insurance and Government and Municipal Law practice groups.

Catherine E. “Katie” Bouvier earned her J.D. from the University of Kentucky College of Law, and her B.A. in government and Spanish from Centre College. Her courtroom experience includes private practice in a regional defense firm, and prosecuting more than five hundred felony cases as an Assistant Commonwealth Attorney in Fayette County. Katie also spent a year as an AmeriCorps VISTA Volunteer working for CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates), an organization which serves to represent abused and neglected children in the court system. She is a Board Member of the Bluegrass Claims Association, and a member of numerous legal organizations, including the Central Kentucky Inn of Court, and the Kentucky and Fayette County Bar Associations.

Maureen C. Malles graduated cum laude with a J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, and earned her B.A. from Florida State University. Her experience includes clerkships at two Florida litigation firms as well as a legal externship with Tapestry, Inc., a multinational luxury fashion holding company in New York City. Prior to attending law school, Maureen spent three years as a civil litigation paralegal. She is a member of several legal organizations, including the Central Kentucky Inn of Court, the Kentucky and Fayette County Bar Associations, and the Women Lawyers’ Association.
