Rebecca Price’s practice focuses on energy and utilities law and regulation issues, as both general counsel and a litigation attorney. As a former Special Attorney in the Kentucky Office of the Attorney General and a Staff Attorney to Hon. Thomas D. Wingate in Franklin Circuit Court, Rebecca is well-equipped to represent utilities, intervenors, and other public sector entities in cases before the Public Service Commission and other regulatory bodies, as well as in litigation.
Rebecca has worked with local, regional, and national businesses to resolve litigation issues with the Commonwealth and led the Attorney General’s COVID-19 price gouging enforcement effort. She has extensive experience helping clients achieve regulatory compliance with various government entities.
A Georgetown, Ky., native, Rebecca served as law clerk for the Department of Public Advocacy, as an intern for Senator Mitch McConnell’s office, and as an intern with Birmingham’s Urban Food Project, where she developed the Farm to Corner Store program to connect store owners with local farmers and foster the urban market for locally grown produce. She is an active alumna of Lexington’s Sayre School and enjoys gardening, music, and true crime podcasts.
