Jessica Stigall Elevated to Partnership

Sturgill, Turner, Barker & Moloney, PLLC is pleased to announce that Jessica Roberts Stigall has been promoted to Member of the firm.

A Kentucky SuperLawyers Rising Star and U.S. News Best Lawyers “Ones to Watch” honoree for Education Law and Labor and Employment Law - Management, Jessica has extensive experience defending clients in trial and appellate courts at the state and federal level.

Jessica represents and advises clients in litigation, governance, and employment matters, including employee policies and discipline, employment discrimination claims, and due process and retaliation matters. As part of her practice, Jessica conducts independent investigations as well as discrimination and harassment training for public and private employers (including Title IX and Title VII). In addition, Jessica represents P-12 schools in special education matters.

Jessica is a member of the Kentucky and Fayette County Bar Associations, National Council of School Board Attorneys/Kentucky Council of School Board Attorneys, Defense Research Institute (DRI), Kentucky Defense Counsel, and FCBA Women Lawyers’ Association. She is also the 2021 President of the Junior League of Lexington, and was named the League’s Volunteer of the Year in 2018.
