Scott Miller Presents Lawsuit Prevention for Employers

Scott Miller taught lawsuit prevention strategies to employers at the National Business Institute (NBI) CLE “Why Employers Get Sued: How You Can Stop It.” Scott covered the top reasons employers get sued, including sexual harassment, discrimination, FMLA leave, ADA reasonable accommodations, wage and hour issues, and wrongful termination claims. Examples of the lawsuit prevention strategies he provided include training supervisors to mitigate lawsuits and how to effectively investigate and respond to employee complaints.
