Andrew DeSimone Joins Kentucky Defense Counsel Board Executive Team as Secretary-Treasurer

Sturgill, Turner, Barker & Moloney Member attorney Andrew DeSimone has been named to the executive team of the Kentucky Defense Counsel, Inc. (KDC), serving as Secretary-Treasurer of the 2021 KDC Board of Directors. He has served as a Director At Large on the KDC Board since 2017.

An experienced and successful healthcare and med mal defense attorney, Andrew is AV Preeminent® Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell® and has been named to Best Lawyers in America®: Health Care Litigation, and Kentucky Super Lawyers®: Medical Malpractice Defense, General Personal Injury Defense.

Andrew also serves on the board of the Fayette County Bar Foundation, as well as on the Defense Research Institute (DRI) Publications Committee, and was 2021 chair of DRI’s Medical Liability and Health Care Law Seminar. He volunteers with Lexington’s Surgery on Sunday.
